How it works
Step 1
Diagnostic
Every student starts with a free, full-length diagnostic exam. Built on 15+ years of research and experience, our diagnostic tools show exactly where your student stands today and what will raise their score, not guesswork.
Step 2
Customized plans
Each plan is built around the student’s diagnostic results, test dates, and goals, whether it’s a first attempt that needs a strong foundation or a retake that needs targeted, skill-specific coaching.
Step 3
One-on-one instruction
Your student works directly with an experienced instructor who makes real-time adjustments as they go, backed by our center managers and broader education team.

FAQ
My student learns differently. Can you help?
Yes. Our faculty are trained to adjust lessons to each student’s learning profile, and every plan is built around how your child learns best. Our instructors are specifically trained to support students with ADHD, anxiety and other learning challenges. If organization, focus, or time management are part of what holds your student back, we’ll incorporate our executive function coaching into your student’s session.
Are sessions in person or online?
Most sessions are one-on-one, in person at our Wellesley and Concord learning centers, but we can also offer virtual sessions.
How many sessions will my student need?
It depends on where your student is starting and where they want to land. The diagnostic gives us the answer, and we’ll give you a straightforward recommendation before you commit to anything.
How do you prepare students for the SAT, ACT, ISEE, and SSAT?
Every plan starts with a full-length diagnostic and is built around the individual student, then adjusts as practice-test results come in. We work backward from your student’s test dates and target schools, teaching both the content (grammar rules, math concepts, reading strategies) and the test-taking strategy that turns that knowledge into points. From there, we carefully monitor progress through error analysis; we look closely at every missed question to see whether it came from a content gap, a careless error, timing, or a misread, and that review shapes the next session.
Which test should my student take?
For college admissions, most students take the SAT or the ACT, and colleges accept either. A free diagnostic exam shows which test plays more to your student’s strengths, or whether it makes sense to prep for both. For independent and Catholic high school admissions, the right test (ISEE, SSAT, or HSPT) depends on the schools on your list, and we’ll help you sort it out.
Do you offer diagnostic testing first?
Yes. Every program starts with a full-length practice test to set a baseline score, free of charge and with no obligation.
When should my student start test prep?
For the SAT or ACT, many families begin in the spring of sophomore year or the summer before junior year. For the ISEE, SSAT, or HSPT, most start several months before the test. Shorter timelines can still work well; we build the plan around your test dates.
